Terrace with beautiful view on harbor of Amalfi.Collection of recent pocket books available. Breakfast on terrace.
Website mentioned wifi, however no appliances in the room, only at the reception at...5 euro per hour! Non smoking rooms smelled of cigarettes of prior residents. Paper walls: you could hear word for word what your next door neighbour was saying!
A spacious, pleasant and well-equipped apartment, located right behind the Duomo of Amalfi. The hotel kindly picked us up from the port and also provided a welcome pack.
The hotel reception is located about 600m from the apartments.
Friendly staff. Having breakfast outside on the verandah, facing Amalfi township.
Hard to find hotel. Showers in bathrooms too small.
I loved everything about this hotel! I had a room with a terrace overlooking the yacht harbor and sea. The staff was outstanding! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who loves to be part of the community, without superficial glitz--a wonderful, wonderful hotel! I hope to be back there soon!
Hotel location was good, in front of the sea and near the town. Hotel staff is very polite and kindness.
This hotel is even better than 3 Stars ! We spend 6 nights in apartment No1 in Amalfi city (700m away from the hotel). Staff was extraordinary nice and very polite. They escort us from the hotel (check in) to the appartment ! There is nothing else to say, they are perfect. The appartment was very clean, fully equiped and like new. Even the appartment was offered as selfservice there is everything for breakfirst placed free of use. WiFi (fast) for free, laundry (washingmachine and dryer), central but quiet place, Sat tv, air conditioning (2x). At the beach in front of the hotel there are reserved sunlounger for special dicount. The City of Amalfi is beautifull and the nicest place of whole of Amalfi coast (we traveled along the coast). Aurora is the best place to stay in Amalfi ! I can not agree with the complains of other visitors who were disturbed by the Gym inside the building. To the owner who me met personnaly: Thank You
Excellent staff, noting was too much trouble. Beautiful location, clean and comfortable.
Great location and views
The noisy doors and locks.
Fabulous location. Gorgeous stroll along the seafront to charming town centre and dinner. Perfect balmy evening. Clean, comfortable and helpful, friendly staff
Location, 5 minute flat walk from the centre of Amalfi so close to the action but quiet in the evening. The staff, particulary Andrew, were excellent. The hotel also arranged a free guided tour of the town which was very interesting & informative. Access to a private beach and provided beach towels.
Location in Amalfi. Size of space in the residence. Kitchen facilities
Location, location, location. Overlooked the sea.
On the day of checkout, I was unable to pay with my AMEX card. Had to pay with my MC instead. Lucky "I didn't leave home without it."
We stayed in the Apartments rented by Hotel Aurora. It was located in town right behind the church.
There was little air flow. There was no windows but there was a door that opened up into a very small court yard that was actually 3-4 floors below the top of the building so it got no sunshine or wind. Amalfi recycles its paper, plastic, and food and they expected their guests to separate their own garbage and charged approx $30 Euro if you didn't do it but they didn't give any clear guidlines as to what they considered under each heading. The woolen blankets didn't look that clean.
Ideal and quiet location overlooking the marina, less than a 5 minute stroll into town along the sea front, so no steps to climb! The breakfast terrace is very pretty, with beautiful views across the Med. Rooms are clean with crisp white bed linen. Access to beach area for hotel Aurora guests was a bonus.
We (family group of 4) stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, which included a well appointed kitchen / dining room. large lounge (with optional pull out sofa bed), good bathroom/laundry and access to a separate laundry with dryer. Location to the beach and town centre is fantastic. The host Andrea was extremely helpful and offered great advice on where to shop, what to do and transport options on departure. He met us at the bus and personally escorted us to the apartment. The apartment was very spacious and was exceptionally well priced and affordable. Other apartments at a similar price were very small in comparison.
Whilst the price was very affordable there was a small trade off with budget beds and no outdoor living area. There was also a lack of English speaking TV available
